Description

We're Making a Come Back!

It's finally time to get our Miracle League athletes back out onto our field. We are hosting two IN PERSON events on May 15th. An individual baseball clinic and a pick up baseball game.

Baseball Clinic:

For our families who aren't yet comfortable will a full on baseball game, The Miracle League team is offering you a physically distanced, one on one baseball clinic with instruction from SF Baseball Academy! We have 12 individual hour long slots available on Saturday May 15th. We will serve 3 families each hour ensuring there is plenty of space on the field for physical distancing, and enough equipment to prevent the need to share. Each player will get one hour of individual coaching where they will have the opportunity to hit, throw, field, and advance around the bases! (We ask that you please save the hour-long clinic sessions for our families who are at higher risk or are less comfortable with outings during COVID19).

Baseball Game:

For our families and athletes who are feeling more comfortable with larger crowds, we invite you to join us for a socially distanced pick up game hosted by SF Baseball Academy! The game will start at 12:30pm and go until approximately 1:30pm. Athletes will receive coaching throughout the game from our awesome coaches at SF Baseball Academy.

Please register using the link above for the event that best suits your families needs!

COVID19 Precautions:

We understand that our population is at a higher risk for COVID19. We are taking the highest precautions to ensure that our players and their families remain safe during our event.

  • Temperatures will be taken upon arrival.

  • Spectators will be limited to the immediate family or housemates of the player.

  • Lanes will be designated for arrival and exit to limit exposure.

  • All staff, volunteers, buddies, and coaches will be masked for the duration of the event. We also ask that our players be masked, if possible.

  • During the clinic portion of the day, players and their individual coach will have their own ⅓ of the field to provide plenty of room for physical distancing.

  • Players will only share equipment (the ball) with their individual coach and buddy (if needed). Families who don’t feel comfortable with a buddy being provided may supply a buddy of their own choosing.

  • Bleachers and dugouts have been sectioned off to ensure 6ft spacing. Families will be given wipes to disinfect the bleachers for their comfort prior to sitting. You may also bring your own seating so you can follow your player as they move through the stations.

  • All equipment will be disinfected prior to the start of the pick up game
